Mailbox Painting Service includes the following:

In St. Ives we do not paint the mailbox, only the post. The paint used for your mailbox needs to be applied with a spray gun and this is not practical in the field. If you feel you need a new mailbox we can provide this (see below).

     1.    Clean the mailbox and post with a degreaser and scrub all dirt off
             post and box.
    2.    Rinse with water and sponge down.
    3.    We prime areas of rust with a Rustoleum primer.
    4.    Clean and polish any copper.
    5.    Paint post only with one coat - two coats if necessary.
    6.    Return within 7 days to review work and touch-up if necessary.

            Price for painting post only is $30

Revitalizing Copper Address Number Plate
    1.    Remove the Address Number Plate
    2.    Soak in Muratic Acid, wash, scrub and rinse.
    3.    Spray on a clear coat enamel.
    4.    Reinstall within 2 days.

            Price for this service is $8

Replacement Mailbox
We purchase our replacement mailboxes direct from the firm that provided the mailboxes and post for your subdivision. This manufacturer has a specific process they apply to the mailbox to ensure the paint last as long as possible. Please allow 10 business days from order date to receive your new mailbox.

        The cost for a New mailbox painted is $95
        If we do the installation the fee is $25

Replacement Copper Address Number Plate
        The cost for the Address Number Plate is $40.

Copper Side Strips
Your Subdivision does not use copper side strips on the mailbox. These strips mask the unsightly screws and holes on the side of the mailbox. You may want to check with the property management to see if this can be added to your mailbox.

        The cost for 2 side copper strips installed is $25

We will do our best to meet any specific timetable request; however we do not work on Sundays. If you have a requested time frame please indicate this in the appropriate comment field below.

A Sales Ticket will be prepared at time of service and will be left taped to your front door if you are not home. Who to make checks payable to and a mailing address will be on the ticket. Please pay promptly.
